So basically, I always wanted to create a blog. But I never really knew what to write in it or how in general I could keep the motivation for it. Often times I just used ghost since it's easy to use, set up and host. For some reason though, I never was able to keep my motivation high to finally do a blog.

What is then the next step to try? Of course, a developer with not a lot of frontend knowledge doing a static html blog herself. Why am I doing this? I have no idea! And I love it! Not only am I able to learn a bit of HTML and CSS, I'm also able to do it either from the command line or a code editor. That is one of the biggest factors for me, since rumaging around in the terminal is faster for me then lifting up my hand and doing stuff with the mouse or trackpad. I know, I know. I absolutely sound as if I would be extremely lazy, which sometimes is the case and most of the time I just have to say it's more comfortable if the hands do not need to move away from the keyboard.

I'm quite interested on how this will continue in the future. For now though, I'm pretty positive about it, since it gives me some kind of value and also makes fun to do!
